LASER HAIR REMOVAL

How does it work?
Dynamic Pulse Control light-based technology targets the hair follicle without harming surrounding skin.
During the treatment, heat energy denaturizes melanin in hair follicle, inhibiting new growth.

When will I see results?
Two weeks following the first treatment. With every session the hair regrowth will decrease.

How many sessions are necessary?
Typical treatment plan is 6-10 sessions 4-8 weeks apart.
Individual results may vary.

Why does it require that many treatment sessions?
Only 20-25% of hair follicles in the body are in the active growth phase at any given time.
This is the hair that can be destroyed in one session.
To eliminate up to 90% of hair, treatments should be repeated until the desired results are achieved.

What does the treatment feel like?
Light, painless tingling sensations may be felt.
This treatment is non-invasive, with no downtime, and requires minimal

How to prepare for laser hair removal treatments:

  • Avoid tanning. This includes tanning creams, spray tans, UV tanning beds, etc.
  • If the skin is red, irritated, or sunburned, the treatment must be rescheduled.
  • Know your prescriptions, any sensitivities, or allergies.
This is important to ensure desired outcome with minimal discomfort.
  • Avoid hair removal at least six weeks prior to your first treatment:
no waxing, sugaring, plucking, threading or hair removal creams before or in between treatments.
Hair papilla must be present for light-based hair removal treatments.
  • Shaving is permitted in between and prior to appointments
  • Discontinue use of photosensitizing products such as AHAs, BHAS, retinoic acids for 5 days prior to treatment.
  • Avoid treatments with active ingredients, lasers, or any type of physical exfoliation for a minimum of 3 days prior.

Aftercare:

  • Consider wearing sun protective clothing such as sunglasses, a wide brimmed hat, cotton gloves for driving.
  • Avoid exfoliation (both chemical and physical) for up to 3 days after treatment.
  • Do not exfoliate, sweat excessively, or cause friction on the treated area for 24 hours.
  • Do not apply AHAs, BHAs, or retinoids on the treated area for a minimum of 3 days.
  • Keep the treated area hydrated. We recommend using BODY COMPLEX.
  • Use SPF 50+ on the treated area. We recommend using ECLIPSE SPF 50+

Aftercare one week post session:

  • Gently exfoliate in circular motions to prevent ingrown hairs.

We recommend planning hair removal sessions accordingly to not overlap with gym sessions, hot yoga classes, steam, hot tubs, swimming, and other like activities to avoid irritation.
